General guidelines for poetry collections
We publish collections of short poetry and art, in varying lengths. Our signature house style informs page presentation, book size and design. Please send an initial email query, telling us a little about yourself and your project including vision, readership, and sample work. If your project is deemed right for publication with wildflower poetry press, we will ask for 50-100 poems to select from. The first stage is developmental editing (selection, arrangement and finding the pulse of a book); followed by copy-editing (corrections and suggestions for revision); typesetting; design and finally proofreading. You will be sent a digital proof to read, correct and approve before publication. Copyright remains with the author. Please be assured that we value poetic freedom and throughout the process outlined above, we strive to remain sensitive to the poet’s voice. Email us at wildflowerpoetrypress@gmail.com, thank you.
Please note—we also offer editorial services to guide and support the SELF-PUBLISHING author/artist, every step on the way from typescript to publication. To find out more, please click on this link: DANDELION: editorial services
